RE: SAME PLACE. SAME NAME. NEW FACE.  

 

Greenough Fur Kids Resort is a family run, purpose-built boarding kennel, established in 2006 where it has been owned and operated by Geoff and Marilyn Hooper. Fast forward to 2023 after 17 years and too many wagging tails, wet noses and sloppy tongues to count, the Hooper’s are finally ready to roll into a hard-earned retirement and pass their pooper scooper on!  

 

Before we introduce ourselves, we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Geoff and Marilyn for the dedication, hard work and care that they have provided to the Fur Kids of the Midwest over the past 17yrs. We hope that retirement treats you both well and can only hope that we are able to continue building on the legacy you have created before us. 

 

Now what about those intruders you say, well we are Jade and Shayna! We have over 20yrs of combined experience and knowledge that stems from working within the Veterinary Industry. Whilst GFKR may have a New Look and New Management, like our predecessors, we continue to be a small family-owned, one for all and all for one operation that prides itself on treating your Fur Kids as if they were our very own.  

 

Situated in the same beautiful location, set amongst scenic farmland and the Greenough River, conveniently located 20min South of Geraldton and only a 2km turn off the Brand Highway. We offer short- and long-term accommodation in a clean, safe and comfortable environment, where your Fur Kids health and happiness is at the forefront of our minds at all times.   

 

At GFKR, we aim to create peace of mind for our clients by creating a place that exemplifies what we would want for our own pets and ensuring that your Fur Kids are cared for with the high quality, personalised and individual care that they deserve, all in the comfort of their very own Home Away from Home.
